already and yet Present perfect already is used to talk about things that happened sooner/faster than expected Ex: Pronoum + have/has + already + verb (3rd form) + I have already finished all my work. yet is used to talk about things that didn't happen but you hope/wait to happen. (most used in the end of the sentences) Ex: I haven't traveled to India yet. Have you tried the new iPhone yet? Present perfect continuous use to link the past and present (you emphasize the present) Affirmative Pronoun + have/has + been + verb with ING + I've been studying English for 1 year. Negative Pronoun + haven't/hasn't + been + verb with ING + I haven't been studying English for 1 year. Interrogative Have/has + pronoun + been + verb with ING + Have you been studying English for 1 year?
