ADJECTIVES
*Adjectives describe nouns and can also describe other adjectives;
Ex.

Be careful!
Some adjectives are only used after verbs. Do not use them before a noun: afraid /
alive/ alone / asleep / awake / ill.

Ex.: He became ill last month.

*You can use Adjectives after Indefinite Pronouns too.

For example, they can be placed after “something, anything, everything, somebody,
somewhere, anywhere etc.

It was somewhere very nice.
There was something strange in her words.

 When we have more than one adjective before a noun, the last two are not
joined with “and”:
Ex.: Jack is wearing a black, wool jacket.

 The order of Adjectives is normally the following:
1- Quality / subjective appreciation
2- Size
3- Shape
4- Age / temperature
5- Color

6- Origin
7- Material
8- Purpose

Ex.:
The man took a big, square, old, French, decorative piece.
