- Common plurals in English: noum + s
A bag --- bags. Ex. There are 3 bags in the kitchen.
-Words ending in o,s,ss,sh,sh,ch, x or z: noum + es
A watch --- watches. Ex: I have 4 watches.
-Words ending in f or fe: (- f or fe + ves)
A wolf --- wolves, a wife ---- wives. Ex: My friends` wives are angry now.
-Words ending in Consonant + y: (-y + ies)
A city --- cities, a lady --- ladies. Ex: Brazilian cities are badly organized.
Irregular plural:
A man – men. Men in general don´t like shopping.
A woman – women. Women like shopping.
A child – children. Children like messing around.
A person – people. People in Brazil are talkative.
