1.11.1 Introduction to New Features
The UNM2000 V1.0R1 Build13.08.01.08BD3 Patch01 version has the following new
features:
u The EMS supports setting the display mode of the password. You can set the
password to be displayed in cipher text on the GUI to enhance the security of
the password (A switch is added for setting this function. See Displaying the
Password in Cipher Text).
u The EMS supports exporting port labels through Port Resource Statistics,
providing more abundant resource statistics.
u The EMS enables you to set the card label data to null, which is convenient for
you to clear the customized port label data.
u Supports remote alarm email notification using the encrypted ports 465 and
587, which enhances the information security.
u Increases the loading speed of ONU query result and enables you to navigate
to the ONU list.
u Optimizes the client port download GUI and adds the server IP address
configuration, improving the configuration user-friendliness.
u Supports setting whether to save the SNMP timing request event to the
database and its display mode so as to ensure appropriate database space
occupation and user-friendly GUI display.
u Supports displaying and copying machine codes by GetMachineID, which is
convenient for you to view it.
u Supports PON port configuration migration, providing a fast and secure solution
for migrating the configurations of the PON port.
u Adds the number of unauthorized ONUs in the card information.
u The TL1 interface supports modifying the bandwidth template parameters in the
VEIP data service configuration, which enables you to adjust configurations.
u Adds two types of alarm types in the TL1 interface reporting, which improves
the alarm notification service.
2 Version: A
1 Version Overview
u The TL1 interface supports collecting the actual ONU models so that you can
view and gather statistics of them through the third-party EMS (A switch is
added for setting this function. See Supporting Collection of Actual ONU
Models by the TL1 Interface).
u The ADD-LANIPTVPORTcommand of the TL1 interface is added with the
multicast service issuing switch, which is used to control whether to issue the
VEIP multicast uplink signaling (A switch is added for this function. See Adding
Multicast Service Delivering Switch for ADD-LANIPTVPORT).
1.21.2 Solved Issues / Requirements / Optimization
List
Case No. Description
1103702
[PON] - Philippines project - The TL1 supports modifying the uplink and downlink bandwidthtemplates in
the VEIP data service configuration.
1092519
[PON] - Philippines project - The SET-WANSERVICE command issuing error is solved in the northbound
interface.
1090747
[PON] - Philippines project - Previously, if you right-clicked the card in the NE manager page, there would
be no response in the UNM2000 client. Now the problem is solved.
1092221
[PON] - Philippines project - The problems that the object tree is greyed out and - is displayed in the
alarm statistics are solved.
1091738
[PON] - Philippines project - Previously, the performance threshold configuration template (access
method: NE Manager→Configuration→Local Service ConfigurationPON Service) failed to be
delivered. Now the problem is solved.
1091206
[PON] - Indonesia Telecom project - Previously, when the device configuration was downloaded or the
data was saved into database, a delimiter would be generated at the end of the identifier variable. Now
the problem is solved.
1091231
[PON] - Thaidland3BB project - Previously, when the ONU upgrade task was created, the UNM2000
would prompt alerts indicating that operations such as Read from Database orWrite to Database
failed. Now the problem is solved.
1090862
[PON] - Philippines project - The UNM2000 optimizes the default workspace. The workspace is located
in the client installation directory. The logs that require printing are adjusted to release the disk space.
1092353
[Access NBI] - Columbian project - Previously, when you exporting the ONUWAN connection service
management status using the dumpresource method, the adminstate field is null. Now, this problem is
solved.
1091818
[Access NBI] - Malysia Telecom Project - The ADD-ONU command mechanism is optimized for the
northbound TL1 interface. Now the UNM2000 cancels the whitelist readback after the ADD-ONU
command is executed in case of password authentication. Thus, it solves the timeout issue for
processing tickets when there are a lot of whitelist data in the device.

14 Version: A
2 New Features
2.11.12.11.1 Adding Multicast Service Delivering Switch for ADD-
LANIPTVPORT
Add a switch variable in the interface configuration file (path: D:\unm2000\server\etc
\interface.ini). This variable is used to determine whether to deliver VEIP multicast
uplink signaling.
u MulticastUpCfgSwitch=0: The VEIP multicast uplink signaling will not be
delivered.
u MulticastUpCfgSwitch=1: The VEIP multicast uplink signaling will be delivered
(default value).
2.11.22.11.2 Modifying the Bandwidth Template by the MODIFY-
VEIPSERVICE Command
The TL1 interface supports modifying the bandwidth template parameters in the
VEIP data service configuration.
For example, the following command is used to modify the uplink bandwidth to b.
MODIFY-VEIPSERVICE::OLTID=10.190.17.23,PONID=NA-NA-2-1,ONUIDTYPE=MAC, ONUID=FHTT93c9574e,ONUPORT=NA-NA-NA-1:CTAG::ServiceId=1,UpAssuredRateLimit=b, DownAssuredRateLimit=testgrop; FH_10.171.28.47 2017-04-17 18:18:39 M CTAG COMPLD EN=0 ENDESC=No error
2.11.32.11.3 Supporting Collection of Actual ONU Models by the
TL1 Interface
The TL1 interface of the project supports collecting the actual ONU models so that
you can view and gather statistics of them by the third-party EMS. You can set
whether to collect the actual ONU models by setting the interface.ini file in the D:
\unm2000\server\etc\nbi directory.
u If you set AnhuiCMCCFlag to 1, the TL1 interface will collect the actual ONU
models after you restart the UNM2000 services.
For example, issue the LST-ONU command, the VendorID and EquipmentID
parameters will display ONU Vendor and Equipment Model respectively.
LST-ONU::OLTID=10.190.17.23,PONID=NA-NA-2-1,ONUIDTYPE=MAC, ONUID=FHTT93c9574e:CTAG::; FH_10.171.28.472017-04-1716:48:28 MCTAGCOMPLD total_blocks=1 block_number=1 block_records=1
