Usamos o Present continuous para falar
das ações que estão acontecendo no exato
momento em que se fala.
Observe também como é formado o Presente
continuous:
Ex: I'm studying now.

Ex: I'm studying now.
Eu estou estudando agora.
Observe que o
verbo principal
recebe em sua
terminação o -ing.

Quais as regras para colocar os verbos no
Present continuous?
Regra geral
Acrescentar o -ing no final
dos verbos.
Study- studying
Verbos que terminam
em:
-e precedida de consoante,
retira-se o -e, e acrescenta -
ing
Dance- dancing
Verbos que terminam
em:
consoante + vogal +
consoante ( CVC ), dobra-se
a última letra e acrescenta -
ing.
Run - running
Verbos que terminam
em:
-ie, troca-se o -ie por -y e
acrescenta -ing.
Lie - lying
Com o present continuous ás vezes, usamos algumas
expressões para indicar que a ação está acontecendo no
momento em que se fala.

-nesse momento
-no momento
