Ex: If you heat ice, it melts. If you freeze water, it turns into ice. Aff: If + pron + verb simple present , pron + verb simple presente Ex: If you study, you pass the test. Neg: If + pron + (don’t/doesn’t/ isn’t/ aren’t/ am not) + verb presente, pron + (don’t/doesn’t/ isn’t/ aren’t/ am not) + verb present Ex: If I don’t come to school, I don’t learn. If you want, I will ask. I will ask if you want. Aff: If + pron + verb simple present , pron + will or ‘ll + verb simple present Ex: If you buy one of these carpets now, I will get a good price for you. Neg: If + pron + (don’t/doesn’t) + verb presente, pron + won’t/can’t/mightn’t + verb presente Ex: If She doesn’t pray, she won’t have the answers. No tempo futuro, geralmente são usados os verbos modais: will, can e might. Obs: Nas sentenças negativas, os verbos modais podem surgir na forma contraída: Will: will not – won't Might: might not – mightn’t Can: cannot – can’t Colégio SOLAR Teacher: Renata Sousa Costa Série: 9º Ano Student:_________________________________________ English Activities https://www.todamateria.com.br/modal-verbs/ 2º Conditional: ( Past/ Modal) A second conditional é formada pela if clause com verbos no simple past.
