Alice went into a hair salon and asked for the haidresser. "What kind of look are you going for?" 
Joseph asked. "I want to have it in light pink and shorter," she said. "Well, we can add layers to 
your hair. We can also make your hair shorter," the hairstylist said. "That’s exactly why I came 
here, Joey!" 
Alice sat in the chair while the hairstylist cut and dyed her hair. Alice couldn't see herself in the 
mirror because she didn't have her glasses on, she only saw a blur. She just trusted the hairstylist. 
An hour or so later, the hairstylist said, "There you go! You look GORGEOUS" 
Alice put on her glasses and looked at herself. She looked totally different! She liked it but, felt a 
little bit weird at first. She could barely even recognize herself. 
 
Alice went home and immediately asked her friends and family what they thought about her new 
looks. Most of them liked it. They said it made her look edgier, different, in a good way. Her 
boyfriend was in shock when he saw her. He said it made him love her even more.
