If you have plenty of memory, anything 512 or higher is fine (Intel recommends 2048 (max) for gigabit ethernet). ■ Make sure to have both values the same (this most likely won’t affect connection too much so don’t spend a bunch of time on it. If you are getting packet loss at low values, increase the value. ○ Reduce Speed on Powering Down > Disabled ○ System Idle Power Saver > Disabled ○ Ultra Lower Power Mode > Disabled ○ Wait for Link > Off ○ Wake on Link Setting > Disabled ○ Wake on Magic Packet > Disabled ○ Wake on Pattern Match > Disabled ○ TCP Checksum Offload (IPv4) > Disabled (High-end) or Enabled ○ TCP Checksum Offload (IPv6) > Disabled (High-end) or Enabled https://github.com/djdallmann/GamingPCSetup/blob/master/CONTENT/RESEARCH/NETWORK/README.md ○ UDP Checksum Offload (IPv4) > Disabled (High-end) or Enabled ○ UDP Checksum Offload (IPv6) > Disabled (High-end) or Enabled ○ Power Saving Options ■ Disable all power saving options in drivers and for the adapter, more options are available in the latest Intel drivers sets. 4.3 Disable powersaving features for USB ● View > devices by connection > USB Controller > right click > properties > Power Management > Uncheck “allow the computer to turn of this device” ● Do this for USB controllers, hubs, and input device. 4.4 Disable wake functionality for your mouse, keyboard devices ● View > devices by connection > HID compliant mouse and HID Keyboard Device > right click > properties > Power Management > Uncheck “allow the device to wake the computer” 4.5 Turn off Windows write-cache buffer flashing on disk drive ● Open Device Manager ● View > Devices by connection ● Under PCI -to- PCI Bridge, click on your disk’s controller ● Then right click on disk, choose Properties, then Policies ● Check the box 5) Disable drive search indexing 5.1 Right click on your partition 5.2 Uncheck “Allow files on this drive to have contents indexed...” 5.3 Apply changes to drive, subfolders and files 5.4 Click Continue 5.5 Ignore all 6) Import a powerplan Example: powercfg -import C:\Muren.pow Enabled idle - more fps, better temps Disabled idle - lower latency, better input Powerplans with disabled idle: Muren, Zoyata Recommended profiles are Muren, Calypto Tip: You can see if idle is enabled or disabled via unchecking the proper setting in Power Settings Explorer Run PowerPlan.bat Now go to power settings System> Power and Sleep> Additional Power Settings You now have 3 power plans to try out! 7) Tweak your GPU driver 7.1 Tweak your NVIDIA / AMD control panel 7.2 Import a profile with NVIDIA Profile Inspector Recommended profiles is Cat’s or Felipe’s (you can test all of them tho) 7.3 HunchoGorr’s steps + profile(Fortnite only) ● Open 7.
