SYNOPSIS AND DETAILS 
 
 Michael Newman (Adam Sandler) is married to Donna (Kate Beckinsale) and has two children. Having 
difficulty seeing the children, since he has done so in the architecture office in which he works, in order to get 
the attention of his boss (David Hasselhoff), he feels that he will never have time to reconcile the two things. 
But, after entering a mysterious store in order to buy a new remote control for his home, he seems to have 
found a solution. That's because, upon arriving at the site, he meets the eccentric employee Morty (Christopher 
Walken), and ends up buying an experimental remote control, with the promise of solving several problems. 
However, Michael soon discovers that he controls other functions, such as muffling the sound of his dog's 
barking and also advancing the facts of his own life, which will change things forever, not necessarily for the 
better.
