Quantifiers
As you already know Any and Some can be used in both
Countable and Uncountable nouns but they use are very
particular, but before focus in these two checks it out these
others quantifiers. Pay attention to the explanation below and
try to learn from it. 
Many – Is used to refer countable nouns, that means nouns in
plural. Many can be used in Affirmative, Negative and
Interrogative sentences.
I bought so many books last month, I need to save money;
I have so many friends I’m so grateful to have them on my
side;
How Many photographers were on the wedding? 
Much – Is used to refer uncountable nouns, much is often
used on negative and interrogative sentences, but in some
occasions can be used in affirmative as well.
I think I wasted too much time in this problem;
I haven’t been drinking Coffee so much in this last weeks;
How much of this information is true or not?

A Lot of – Can be used in both countable and uncountable
nouns, so if you have some issues to use Many or Much you
can use A lot of. 
I think I waster a lot of money in this game;
Could you make me a lot of apple pies please?
I don’t have a lot of cousins; I just have 10 that’s is not so
many.
Some – Some is often used in positive sentences with
countable or uncountable nouns.
I’ve got some bananas in my bag and some water too;
I bought some cheese to our sandwich; 
Kate has some friends that don’t like to socialize with us.
Any – Any is used in the negative and affirmative sentences
and some special cases any can be used on affirmative too.
Do you need any rice to make our dinner?
No, I don’t need any rice;
Hello, do you have any room free on November 1st?
I haven’t got any warm clothes to this cold weather;
Any help that could come from you now would be
appreciated. (special case)
