What is the method proposed by Thurstone for constructing attitude scales?

Thurstone recommends at least seven steps for constructing attitude scales.
The method of interval scales apparently equal is the alternative offered by Thurstone and Chave to the method of comparative judgments by pairs.
The method of comparative judgments by pairs requires a large number of judgments by the subject.
The first step in constructing an attitude scale is to specify as clearly as possible what the attitude variable is that we want to measure.
Once we have an idea of the variable, the next step is to collect information for the construction of the items that will compose the scale.
To correct the previous scale, Thurstone proposes to use judges who will indirectly tell us if the scale is valid or not through two steps.
We have to build a scale that represents the different degrees of the attitude continuum, therefore each item must represent a certain degree of that continuum.
