What are the main pollutants?

Each family of pollutants has its sources, its diffusion in the atmosphere, and its effects.
In particular, in the case of air pollution, the diffusion of pollutants plays an important role in the effects produced.
In certain cases, significant but punctual pollution can disperse over a large geographical area and have a weak impact.
In other cases, diffuse pollution (for example, that generated by means of transport) is concentrated by winds and relief and has a notable impact on cities.
Ozone is a secondary pollutant, it is not directly emitted into the air but is the result of a chemical reaction involving what are called precursors.
Nitrogen oxides, generally referred to by their initials, NOx, are composed of nitrogen monoxide and dioxide (NO and NO2, respectively).
Sulfur oxides mainly refer to SO2, emitted by steel refineries, foundries, and harmful gases in their production processes, such as chlorine or hydrocarbons that have not undergone complete combustion.
The atmospheric pollution can have a local character when the effects linked to the focus are suffered in the immediate vicinity of it or planetary when, due to the characteristics of the pollutant, the general balance of the planet and remote areas to those containing the emitting foci is affected.
a) I, II, and III are correct.
b) IV, V, VI, and VII are correct.
