Aqui estão algumas diferenças entre o ambiente de serviço em uma instituição de saúde e um consultório particular terapêutico: - Interrupção da sessão por enfermeiros e médicos, e tratamento em quartos compartilhados quando necessário. - Menores não podem receber atendimento psicológico em hospitais. - O paciente é obrigado a aceitar o atendimento psicológico e pode resistir a esse movimento. - As sessões só podem ocorrer na presença de um membro da família. - O psicólogo em uma instituição de saúde atende a dois pacientes com casos diferentes ao mesmo tempo.
