Quanto à voz passiva, analise as sentenças a seguir: I- At this time next year, the manager will have reconsidered the prices. II- If you don't make a decision in five minutes, I will lock the door. III- At the end of the day, all the pictures will have been sold. IV- My friends and I are going to be invited to a party at the golf club! Assinale a alternativa CORRETA: A As sentenças III e IV estão corretas. B As sentenças I e II estão corretas. C As sentenças II e III estão corretas. D As sentenças I e IV estão corretas. Sobre este uso do gerúndio, analise as asserções a seguir: I. The laughing during the meeting has made the Director angry. II. The Director has got angry about their laughing during the meeting. III. The Director has got angry because they laughed during the meeting. IV. Their laughing during the meeting has got the Director angry. Assinale a resposta correta: A II e IV estão corretas. B III está correta. C II está correta. D I e II estão corretas. Com base no exposto, assinale a alternativa CORRETA que apresenta a voz passiva da seguinte oração: "She has studied the lesson". A The lesson will have been studied by she. B The lesson has been studied by her. C The lesson had been studied by her. D The lesson was studied by her. Nas alternativas a seguir, assinale a que contém um exemplo destes contextos: A Son, if ever you want to eat some strawberry, all you need to do is to ask me for some. B Research has pointed out that eating vegetables is still the best way to avoid cancer. C Grandma has been wondering for how long she might wait for the bus. D Many schools will open their doors for the families for a family open day this weekend. 5Leia o texto a seguir: The kids spent their time running and hanging hours around doing nothing. It was only when the teacher came back from the director's office that some cleaning could be made in the classroom. The class had been turned into a real mess. Desks had been turned upside down, chairs were lying all over, and plenty of paper balls scattered all around. Sobre o texto, classifique V para as sentenças verdadeiras e F para as falsas: ( ) Em "when the teacher came back" é uma oração na voz passiva. ( ) Some cleaning could be made in the classroom está na voz passiva. ( ) "The class had been turned into a real mess" está na voz passiva. ( ) "The class had been turned into a real mess" está na voz ativa. Assinale a alternativa que apresenta a sequência CORRETA: A F - V - V - F. B V - V - V - F. C V - F - F - V. D F - F - V - V. 6Passive and active voice exists to focus, either on the subject, the one who accomplishes an action, either on the object who suffers an action. Analyze the statements and the relation between them: I- First-class passengers had been offered an extra souvenir by the company. BECAUSE II- Sometimes the subject of the action that is expressed by the main verb of the passive may not appear, although it exists. Check the right answer: A I is a correct sentence and II isn't. B I and II are correct sentences, II relates to I. C I is a false sentence and II is correct. D I and II are correct sentences, but there is no relation between them. Quanto a esta mudança no sujeito da ação, classifique V para as sentenças verdadeiras e F para as falsas: ( ) I have repaired my car this morning. ( ) My friends and I have had our house painted. ( ) Only in the holidays can we have a nice time altogether. ( ) You look so tired, why don't you have a coffee prepared? Seja: The wall has been painted (by the teachers) se comparada a The teachers painted the wall. Sendo assim, identifique a alternativa que não corresponde à voz passiva do verbo: A Is there anything else that has been done by those kids? B The weather has been nice these days by the way. C Has your car been taken to the garage? D This delicious cake has been cooked by my mother. Sobre este uso do gerúndio, classifique as asserções V para Verdadeira e F para Falsa: ( ) Their laughing during the meeting has made the Director angry. ( ) The Director has got angry because they laughed during the meeting. ( ) The Director has got angry about their laughing during the meeting. ( ) Their laughing during the meeting has got the Director angry. Assinale a resposta que apresenta a sequência correta: A F - F - V - V B V - V - F - F C V - F - V - V D V - V - V - F 10Há diversas maneiras de expressarmos negações na construção de sentenças em língua inglesa. Uma delas é adicionando o NOT ou também expressões como NEVER, HARDLY EVER e NO. Sobre a construção frasal negativa, assinale a alternativa CORRETA: A They have not no money in their pockets. B I never go there. C She hardly ever don't play tennis. D We never not like to eat this.
