It works for “big” things It is weak in comparison to the other forces RELATIVITY X QUANTUM MECHANICS G M S W E UNI FIC ATI ON STRING THEORY It started with the idea that the basic thing of anything in the universe is a string of energy. These strings vibrate as the strings of a violin. According to the way that the string vibrates it would generate the different forces of the nature: G, EM, S and W. So everything, mass or energy comes from the same thing. as it is imaginary, it can’t be proved by instruments like the traditional science requires to call something science. String theory is based on sophisticated and complex mathematics. The problem is that instead of one string theory, five theories were created. M-THEORY The five versions of the String theory are equations of the 10th dimension. Edward witten solveD the problem adding one more dimension TO THE EQUATION. HE CREATED THE M-THEORY, AN EVOLUTION AND UNIFICATION OF THE STRING THEORY. NOW, INSTEAD OF STRINGS WE HAVE MENBRANES. OTHER DIMENSIONS ? ACCORDING TO THE M-THEORY, THE EXISTENCE OF THE FORCES OF NATURE JUST ARE POSSIBLE IN A 11 DIMENSIONS UNIVERSE. BUT WE CAN FEEL DIRECTLY ONLY THE 3 DIMENTIONS AND THE TIME. FINAL QUESTION: DO YOU STILL BELIEVE ONLY IN WHAT YOU CAN SEE ?. RECENTLY SCIENCE DISCOVERED THAT NORMAL MATTER IS ABOUT ONLY 4% OF THE UNIVERSE. THEY ALSO DISCOVERED THAT THE VISIBLE GALAXIES ARE ACTUALLY SUPPORTED ON DARK MATTER CLUSTERS.
