Connecting-up the equipment and the motor: Connect-up Master Drives and the motor according to the instructions in the Operating Instructions (refer to the Operating Instructions: Sections 4 and 6), taking into account the EMC protective measures (refer to the Operating Instructions: Section 5) [or Compendium AB: Sections 2 and 4] 1. Necessary settings The factory setting must be established, the motor data must be entered and the highlighted values. For all of the other entries, the factory settings can be used. 2. Entering parameters via the PMU The parameterization unit (PMU) is used to parameterize, control and visualize the AC drives (converter or inverter) directly at the equipment. It is included with the basic drive. It has a four-digit, seven-segment display and several keys.
