In the bustling city of New York, lived a young couple named Jim and Della. They were deeply in love but faced financial challenges. Christmas was just around the corner, and they wanted to give each other special gifts. 
Della decided to sell her hair to a wig marker so she could buy Jim a chain for his pocket watch. Meanwhile, Jim sold his pocket watch to buy Della a set of combs for her hair. 
On Christmas day, they exchanged their gifts, only to discover the sacrifices they had made for each other. Della’s hair was gone, and Jim’s pocket watch was useless without the chain. They both realized that their love and the sacrifices they made were the true treasures.
