NIAGARA PARKLAND 
Here ' s a park for you at any time of the year. 
Our park, established in 1 885, extends from 
Lake Erie to Lake Ontario, parallel to the 
Niagara Ri ver on the Canadian side of the bar­
der. Entry to the park is free. Drive the Niagara 
Parkway and enjoy what Sir Winston Churchill 
described as , "the prettiest Sunday afternoon 
drive in the world. " 
It's a park you can visit at any season. See 
summer's lush green parklands containing mag­
nificently manicured lawns, and colourful floral 
displays. Shuffle through the brilliantly coloured 
leaves that blanket the parkland during the Fali. 
Winter brings an added dimension of beauty and 
outdoor activity to Niagara. The clinging spray of 
the Falls blankets the nearby trees, rocks and 
lamposts forming unique frozen shapes. The 
annual "Winter Festival of Lights" compliments 
this natural beauty. 
Niagara Falls is a place of beauty, history, roman­
ce and power ! It's truly a wonder of the world.
