To-infinitive clausal complements usually follow verbs such as: "agree",
"need", "want", "learn", "decide", "promise", "love", "hate", "intend" and
"arrange". Mark the alternative that best describes the meanings
typically conveyed by these verbs:
They refer to a movement towards a given action, rather than
describing the action itself.
They describe proposals, expressing the speaker's or writer's
suggestions or demands.
They are verbs of communicating, which introduce what
someone wishes to say or report.
They are verbs of cognition, because they imply what
someone's mental processes.
They are verbs of expectation, since they convey someone's
wishes, hopes or aspirations.

The word "that" may either introduce a relative clause or a clausal
complement. When it precedes a relative clause, it is called a relative
pronoun. When, on the other hand, it comes right after a clausal
complement, it is known as a complementizer. Mark the option in which
"that" functions as a complementizer:
One area of space design that has proven problematic for
women is spacesuits.
I think that's probably even more exclusionary if you are not
white.
Only 11% of the astronauts that have ever made it into space
have been women.
The US space agency gears up for its historic Artemis moon

As we enter the academic world, we get in touch with knowledge and
information produced by a wide range of authors. Learning how to
quote them adequately is absolutely essential so as to avoid plagiarism
or the distortion of their original ideas. Mark the option in which the

an indirect interrogative:
