Since 1923, Komori has adhered to its origins:

The world’s premier press manufacturing system
The printing industry trend of recent years is toward
greater multicolor and added value printing.
Komori is addressing this environment flexibly by supplying the
printing industry with advanced products based on a production
system consisting of three factories: the Tsukuba Plant, Komori 
Machinery and Komori Machinery (Nantong) .
One facet of global initiatives, Komori-Chambon S.A.S. in France,
was established as our first overseas production plant.
Komori’s own in-house manufacturing standards specify micron-
order precision control that eclipses JIS and other international
standards. No effort is spared for total quality assurance.

the press required by today’s printers
The Enthrone not only concentrates the basic performance required of a press but 
also offers a compact footprint, including a step-less operator’s-side design. 
Designed with a configuration of double-size impression cylinders and 
double-size transfer cylinders, which are emblematic of concentrated 
functionality, the press provides stable performance and the ability to produce a 
wide range of printed items. Offers competence with a wide range of sheet 
thicknesses, from 0.04 mm up to a maximum of 0.6 mm.* The Enthrone 
significantly shortens changeover time and 
maximizes economic efficiency by enabling 
changeover from thin sheets to thick sheets 
without adjustment of the height of the 
gripper pads on the transfer cylinders.
* 0.04 mm ~ 0.45 mm (single-sided) and 0.04 mm ~ 0.3 mm 
(double-sided) for convertible perfecting models.

environmental responsiveness as the economic landscape changes 
and market needs diversify. High print quality and seven-minute 
makeready performance ensure high profitability. Full-APC
 (fully automatic plate changing) changes all eight plates in less than 
two minutes. Equipped with the evolved AI-Link integrated management 
system, which provides single-step register adjustment, color matching, 
fold format adjustment, and ‘self-learning’ from user-specific data. 
The folder is packed with features designed expressly for high added 
value printing. The extremely high specifications of SYSTEM Series 
web presses, quite simply, change the equation of printing.

With the top share for offset presses in Japan and following the 
release of the next-generation Impremia series digital printing 
systems, Komori now takes aim at future-oriented innovation in 
processing by providing the ideal equipment and setup, such as 
newly developed postpress machines.
The Apressia series of postpress products consists of a lineup of 
the Apressia CT115/CT137 programmable cutters offering the

introduction of a training system for service representatives. 
This is part of efforts to improve the technical abilities of each individual 
service representative. 
Komori aims to ensure that service representatives are trusted and

K-Supply is Komori-brand printing materials and equipment that maximize 
the performance of Komori offset presses to meet the need for print quality 
and to handle the higher speed and greater complexity of printing 
conditions. In the lineup of K-Supply products, materials for H-UV printing 
are particularly in the spotlight. Starting with standard ink for H-UV presses, 
Komori is advancing the development of standard K-Supply products such 
as dampening solution and roller cleaning fluid.
K-Supply Products for Stable Print Quality
K-Supply H-UV Ink for Higher Print Quality
K-Supply H-UV ink is Komori standard ink for H-UV 
printing, developed with the know-how gained from 
the installation and performance of our H-UV systems. 
Incorporating H-UV ink quality enhancements 
(tack, density, flow and film thickness), this is the 
ideal ink for H-UV presses, providing high-level 
hardness, print quality, versatility and economical 
performance.
A problem-solving type service to improve productivity in an 
easy-to-understand way by first visualizing customer issues that need 
improvement and then restoring press performance, retrofitting machines 
with the latest devices, and improving pressroom operations through the 
use of Komori know-how and knowledge.
ONE-DAY CHECK
As the first step in restoring a press from 
deterioration due to aging, a professional 
diagnoses the machine’s condition and 
guides the restoration of performance.

KPM
Komori Preventive Maintenance (KPM) is a
printing plant improvement program to 
reduce sudden breakdowns, extend machine 
life and improve productivity, print quality 
and profitability. Komori offers a list of KPM 
support options that are optimum for the 
customer’s situation and needs. 
Then Komori works in optimum coordination 
with the customer (manager/operator) on 
improvement activities.

(Demonstration Center, Printing College & Training and Printing R &

Three Functions of
The Komori Graphic Technology Center was established as a core institution 
of the Komori Group to build new printing technologies and printing 
systems, reinforce personnel education and skills training, provide 
solutions to customers and contribute to the communication of 
information on printing. KGC helps the growth of the printing industry and 
the improvement of the level of technology by globally transmitting a 
variety of added value information and knowledge required by customers 
and the printing industry worldwide.
Working to raise the level of global printing technology
Participatory training using the latest equipment and facilities in several fields – 
from photography to prepress and printing.
The Printing College offers comprehensive support for human 
resources training at printing companies by developing and providing 
a diverse curriculum aimed at improving offset printing quality around 
the world. The DoNet Area supports research as well as practical training 
in digital workflows from photography to prepress and printing.
Global Expansion of Advanced Skills and Services
Komori is a global printing systems provider, and overseas sales 
account for roughly 70 percent of total orders. To provide customers 
with advanced skills and services, KGC functions have been set up at
