As a literary technique, what purpose does 'stream of consciousness' serve?
 
Resposta: The stream of consciousness is a technique mostly used by Virginia Woolf. It's when the reader has
access to what the character was thinking at a certain moment. Besides the flow of thoughts, the stream of
consciousness also goes back in time to other situations.

internal view that illuminates plot and motivation in the novel.
