How to make a professional project 
	In order to do this, we are first define what a project is, after that, we are providing you some useful vocabulary to help you to describe and make a project.

… So, what is a project?

Before we define what a project is, let’s answer some questions.
	What are you working on at present?
	What are your current projects?
	What are your major initiatives?

To answer these questions you could start like this:
	At the moment, I’m working on a project…. 
	I’m developing a new system about….
	I’m designing….
	I’m currently…

Vocabulary related to the area of projects.

	Abstract 	A short summary of the written report. 
	Background information 	Current knowledge related to the problem. 
	Critical path 	The sequence of activities that must be completed on time for the entire project to finish on schedule. 
*
	Lead time 	The time between making a request and receiving the results. 
	Milestone 	A critical event during the life of a project, usually the accomplishment of a project deliverable. 
	Schedule 	A set of target dates for completing elements of a project. 
*
	Specifications 	Set of requirements (technical, time and cost) and detailed descriptions of the deliverables. 
	Subcontractor 	A person or company does part of a job for someone or another company. They are hired to help the project go faster and more effectively, usually in building works and civil engineering.

	Time frame 	The period of time in which a project or one phase of a project is meant to be completed. 
	To green light”	To give permission for a project to begin. 
	To kick off 	A figurative expression meaning “to start”, can also be used as a noun “kickoff”. 
Definitions for the term Project
	Something that is planned or devised; a plan or scheme; a specific task of investigation…
	Planned set of interrelated tasks to be executed 
over a fixed period and within certain cost and other limitations.

	Objectives 
	Resources
	Partners 
	Troubleshooting
	Measurement of success

Giving information about the progress of a project
	The project starts when a business problem or opportunity is identified;
	Then it has a planning phase; 
	After that it has the execute phase where the work is done and, 
	Finally it has the project closure, which involves the final deliverables.

Communication about the project
During these phases, you probably has to deal with the communication about the project and has to answer some questions about it like these: 
	Anyway, where are we with the project? 
	Will you finish the development stage by next month?'

At the end of the project, when a business project has been completed or implemented, it is normal to undertake a review of its performance and results.

	First of all, it’s important to check if the project has achieved what was originally planned.
	Secondly, to see how the project can be improved both now and in the future.

	Lastly, to learn from the mistakes that happened to ensure they won’t happen in future projects.
