1 Quando se usa o Presente Simples em inglês? R.: O Presente Simples em inglês é usado para expressar: um fato, uma situação atual ou condição geral; uma ação ou acontecimento habitual; verdades universais ou ações futuras. 2 O que acontece com os verbos na 3ª pessoa do singular? R.: Os verbos na 3ª pessoa do singular (he, she, it) recebem as terminações: S, ES ou IES; dependendo do verbo. Porém, os verbos só sofrem essa mudança na forma afimativa. 3 Como é formada a negativa e a interrogativa do Presente simples em inglês? R.: Nas formas negativa e interrogativa usa-se o verbo auxiliar to do (do / does). Usa-se do quando o sujeito for: I, You, We ou They e usa-se does quando o sujeito for: He, She ou It. Quando se usa does nas frases o verbo na 3ª pessoa do singular perde o S, ES ou IES, ficando na mesma forma que as outras pessoas. Na negativa usa-se ainda a partícula de negação not depois do verbo auxiliar (do / does) que é posicionado antes do verbo principal das frases. Exemplo: He does not go to school on Saturdays (Ele não vai para a escola aos sábados). E, na forma interrogativa, o verbo auxiliar (do / does) é posicionado no início da frase e o ponto de interrogação é colocado no final das frases. Do you play the piano?
