Ethics is a part of philosophy that deals with the understanding of the notions and principles that sustain the bases of social morality and individual life.
The exercise of law demands a conduct compatible with the precepts of the Code of Ethics and Discipline of the Brazilian Bar Association, the Statute, the General Regulation, the Provisions, and with the other principles of individual, social, and professional morality.
The moral is based on the behavior of society, while ethics, with the reflection of this behavior, will create universal norms with the purpose of establishing the best actions.
The lawyer's professional ethics consists of persistently aspiring to mold their conduct, their life, to the basic principles of the cultural values of their mission and their ends, in all spheres of their activity.

No exercício da advocacia, é exigida uma conduta compatível com os preceitos do Código de Ética e Disciplina da Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil, do Estatuto, do Regulamento Geral, das Provimentos, e com os demais princípios da moralidade individual, social e profissional. A moral se baseia no comportamento da sociedade, enquanto a ética, com a reflexão desse comportamento, criará normas universais com o propósito de estabelecer as melhores ações. A ética profissional do advogado consiste em aspirar persistentemente moldar sua conduta, sua vida, aos princípios básicos dos valores culturais de sua missão e de seus fins, em todas as esferas de sua atividade.
