De acordo com o plano de curso fornecido, as habilidades e conhecimentos relacionados à língua inglesa que serão desenvolvidos no 8º ano do ensino fundamental são: 1. Identificar manifestações culturais e construir um repertório artístico-cultural. 2. Utilizar estratégias de leitura para inferir informações e construir significado por meio de inferências e reconhecimento implícito. 3. Analisar criticamente o conteúdo de textos, comparando diferentes perspectivas apresentadas sobre o mesmo assunto. 4. Utilizar a língua inglesa para resolver mal-entendidos, expressar opiniões e esclarecer informações por meio de paráfrases ou justificativas. 5. Construir o significado global de textos orais, relacionando suas partes, o assunto principal e informações relevantes. 6. Produzir textos (comentários em fóruns, relatos pessoais, mensagens instantâneas, tweets, relatórios, histórias de ficção, blogs, entre outros) utilizando estratégias de escrita (planejamento, rascunho, revisão e edição final), apontando sonhos e projetos para o futuro (pessoais, familiares, comunitários ou planetários). 7.
