Na 9ª série do ensino fundamental, os alunos são esperados para desenvolver as seguintes habilidades e conhecimentos relacionados à língua portuguesa: - Produção de textos normativos. - Tomada de notas em discussões e debates. - Análise de textos reivindicatórios. - Uso de pistas linguísticas para compreender a hierarquia de proposições em textos. - Articulação da linguagem verbal com outras semioses em textos de divulgação científica. - Produção de roteiros para diferentes tipos de vídeos. - Organização de dados e informações para apresentações orais. É importante ressaltar que as habilidades e conhecimentos relacionados à língua portuguesa na 9ª série do ensino fundamental não se limitam apenas à produção de textos.
