If the memory does not fail me, in the following five years, that is, in the period from eighteen to twenty-three, some events took place that I will take up in chronological order for the experience they left me. In those days, the economic problems in my family exceeded my personal and academic goals, having to enter the workforce just after reaching the legal age. I started in a construction company as a general helper, supporting welders and painters. Almost all of them were twenty years older than me, most of them had families with children, I especially remember Hector, a person with a lot of experience but a noble heart, to whom I owe my one-year stay in the company, as he was the one who cared that I learned and made the type of work less difficult for me. Every workday was the same: I would wake up at five in the morning, have a small breakfast, and head to the bus station, once there I would transfer to a bus that was heading to my workplace, the journey was an hour long, sometimes I would sleep. Once with my colleagues, I would prepare some tools and make myself available for whatever was needed. During lunchtime, we would share what each one brought. Before finishing, I would take care of organizing everything for the next day. My return home was at night, physically defeated, emotionally by the problems we had, and with a strong desire to never have to go back to that despicable place.
