The strategic planning emerged in the early 70s because before that, this theme was practiced as an operational planning, considering that at that time, the scenario in which organizations were found was somewhat more stable, with controlled demand growth. Currently, this scenario has almost reversed in a 360-degree turn, making it necessary for a new way of carrying out administrative planning that would enable companies to have a competitive advantage over their competitors. The authors Barbosa and Brandoni (2005) corroborate that in the face of a highly complex context, the use of strategic planning as a tool to support top management to direct the company's actions within a plan designed to achieve objectives and reach the goal becomes indispensable. The well-elaborated plan minimizes the chances of a wrong decision-making in a highly competitive market, where there is no room for mistakes. About strategic planning, Mintzberg et al (2010) help in this understanding when they determine a basic flow organized in stages for the practical application of this concept. Indicate the correct statement regarding the stage of fixing objectives:

a. The fixing stage occurs after the conclusion of the environmental analysis stages and based on the results and conclusions obtained. The best strategy to achieve the desired objectives is analyzed according to the company's constraints.
b. The objective-setting stage is the first stage where the objectives that the organization intends to achieve are established. These objectives, also known as goals, must be widely disseminated and understood throughout the company.
c. The fixing stage includes the process performance analysis phase. Whether in an internal audit or external audit, these help identify the conditions in which the company finds itself. For example, during the external environment evaluation, the opportunities and threats of the external environment to the organization are raised.
d. The fixing stage is the last stage of the process. After defining the strategy, the actions need to be put into practice, that is, operationalized.
