Ethics is a set of actions based on moral principles and values that do not cause any harm or embarrassment to those involved in the process;
In the internship, this involves confidentiality about the information obtained in the field and the restriction of personal opinions of the students about the processes and organization of the institutions in which they operate;
The student must be aware that they will not only enter the field as an intern but also as a representative of a Higher Education Institution. Therefore, it is important to be aware that the actions taken within the school and during the internship will have future consequences for the next interns and also for the University;
The ethical behavior, respect, and seriousness of the student in carrying out the internship will be fundamental to the success and completion of all planned stages;
The Academic Supervisor, as a mentor and responsible for the student, must pay attention to any signs of violation of ethics and respect by the student in relation to the space of the institution granting the internship and its involved parties;
As a way of materializing the course, the internship should be guided not only by theoretical knowledge but also by the Code of Ethics of Social Workers (from 1993).
