Verbals refer to non-inflected structures, known as: infinitives, gerunds and participles. With this in mind, read the text below: Scandinavian influence was the oldest and, possibly, one of the strongest external forces that contributed to the formation of modern English. Consequently, knowledge of the Icelandic language is extremely important.
