We use do for I, you, we, they, and does for he, 
she, it, before the subject to ask questions in the 
Present Simple. The main verb is used in the 
infinitive without “to”. Look at the transformations: 
You like chocolate. (affirmative) 
Do you like chocolate? (interrogative) 
She wants a dog as a pet. (affirmative) 
Does she want a dog as a pet? (interrogative)
