Once upon a time there was a beautiful young woman named Cinderella who lived with her father.
Cinderella had lost her mother as a child and her father, thinking that Cinderella needed a new mother, decided to marry again.
Cinderella's stepmother had also lost her husband and had two very ugly daughters.
The evil stepmother and her new sisters forced Cinderella to do all the housework and pretending to be very friendly in the presence of her father.
Years later, Cinderella's father died and, by order of her stepmother, Cinderella went to sleep in the basement and dress old clothes.
One day it was announced in kingdom that the King would give a prom in castle, so that his son, a beautiful prince, could choose among all the young women of the kingdom, the one who would be his wife.
Fearing that Cinderella was chosen because she was very beautiful, the stepmother didn’t allow Cinderella to go to the prom, arguing that she didn’t have appropriate clothes to wear.
As Cinderella was very smart, she decided to make her own dress with the help of her animal friends.
But on the night of the prom, the stepmother and her daughters discovered the dress and cut it to pieces! Sadly, Cinderella went to her room to cry.
Sitting at the window, she was wailing: How unhappy I am! I don’t have time to make a new dress...
At that moment, his fairy godmother appeared and said: "Don’t cry any more Cinderella, for with my magic wand I will turn this pumpkin into a carriage with horses and these old cloths I will make the most beautiful of the dresses! And then, Cinderella appeared in a beautiful blue dress and delicate crystal shoes; at his side was a luxurious gold carriage and a beautiful coachman.
Cinderella got into the carriage and the fairy godmother's said: "The spell will end at midnight, then you'll have to go home because all will be as it once was."
Cinderella thanked the fairy godmother and go to the castle.
When she entered, Cinderella was so beautiful that her stepmother and her sisters didn’t recognize her. The prince, who hadn’t been interested in any girl who was at the prom, when he saw Cinderella, fell in love with her. Cinderella and the prince danced all night until the clock of the castle began to playmidnight.
When Cinderella heard the clock she ran off by the stairs and, on the way, lost her crystal shoes. The prince took the shoe, and the next day ordered to search the whole kingdom for the owner of that crystal shoe.
The servants went in all the houses and tried the shoe on each girl.
When they arrived at Cinderella's house, the stepmother only called her daughters and ordered the servant to put her shoes on the girls. No matter how hard they tried, it didn’t serve any of the sisters.
It was when Cinderella appeared and the servant insisted on putting his shoes on.
He entered without difficulty.
The stepmother and her two daughters didn’t even want to believe!
The prince, knowing of what had happened, came immediately to see Cinderella and take her to the castle, where he presented she to the king and the queen.
A few days later, they married and were happily ever after.
