	A leitura é um dos eixos mais importantes da Língua Inglesa.
Criar repertório lexical,isto é,aumentar o vocabulário é muito importante na aquisição de uma Língua estrangeira.Mas não podemos nos esquecer de que saber muitas palavras não significa ter uma grande competência comunicativa.Temos que saber antes de tudo as palavras mais comuns e empregá-las em situações comunicativas.O eixo Conhecimento Linguísticas e Leitura é muito importante na aquisição da Língua Inglesa.Os conhecimentos Línguisticos são o vocabulário e a gramática e estão a serviço da compreensão de textos orais e escritos.
	Quando vamos ler algo,é importante olhar legendas,o título,manchete,observar atentamente as ilustrações e principalmente saber a finalidade do texto,a quem se dirige e que quer comunicar.Os mais variados gêneros textuais estão presntes no nosso cotidiano como receitas culinárias,rótulos de prodotos que compramos,placas etc.É importante para quem está iniciando seus estudos da Língua Inglesa que tenha muito contato com textos em ingles,orais e escritos,vídeos etc.
As palavras cognatas que são parecidas com o portugues são parecidas com o portugues são muito úteis na compreensão de textos nessa língua estrangeira.O conhecimento de uma grande variedade de textos e finalidade ajudam também nessa interpretação,isto é,convite,tirinha,notícia,avisos,fábulas etc,
	Nestes dias que voce está em casa,a leitura pode ser uma importante aliada para ajudar a passar o tempo.

BIOGRAPHY
Pelé was born in 1940. He was a Brazilian soccer player. He is known as King Pelé, enchanted the world with his dribbles and passes. He worked as World Soccer Ambassador. He was elected the “Athlete of the Century”. He led the Santos Football Club, where he worked for two decades, more fortunate than forty bowls. He was top scorer of the Paulista championship, won the title 11 times, where 9 were consecutive. He was top scorer of the Libertadores, the Brazil Cup and the Rio São Paulo Tournament.
