Plexo Cervical 
- Faz a inervação das estruturas do pescoço 
É formado pelos 4 primeiros pares de nervos cervicais. 
Os ramos ventrais desses nervos cervicais formam alças 
e dessas alcas partem ramos que partem ou para a 
parte superficial (para pele) ou profundos (para a 
musculatura) 
Alça cervical: o nervo hipoglosso - quando sai da base do 
crânio - recebe uma comunicação do plexo cervical 
(principalmente de C1 ). Essas fibras que saem de C1 
acompanham o nervo hipoglosso e depois se destacam 
dele, formando a raiz superior da alça cervical (fibras de 
C1 e principalmente de C2). Algumas fibras do plexo (C2 
e C3) formam a raiz inferior da alça cervical, essas duas 
raízes se juntam, formando a alça cervical. A partir dessa 
alça saem os ramos que inervam os músculos infra-
hioideos. A alça fica superficialmente à bainha carotídea. 
Exceções: dois músculos (tireo-hióideo e gênio-hióideo) 
são inervados diretamente por fibras que continuaram do 
nervo hipoglosso - apesar delas pertencerem ao plexo 
cervical, por isso não se pode dizer que esses músculos 
são inervados pelo hipoglosso. 
C4 e C5 formam o nervo frênico, que se coloca sobre 
o músculo escaleno anterior, responsável pela inervação 
do diafragma. 
 
Todos os ramos cutâneos do plexo cervical se 
superficializam, perfurando a lâmina superficial da fáscia 
cervical. Todos os ramos superficiais do plexo cervical 
pr ime i ro tem um t ra je to pos ter io r , depo i s 
superficialmente, contornando a borda posterior do ECM. 
Esses ramos cutâneos partem das alças do plexo. O 
ponto médio da borda posterior do ECM é conhecido 
como ponto nervoso do pescoço, que é um local onde 
emergem esses ramos cutâneos. 
- Nervo Occipital Menor: vem do plexo cervical (C2) 
- Nervo Occipital Maior: ramo dorsal de C2 
- Nervo Auricular Magno: orelha, parótida e ângulo da 
mandíbula. Vem do plexo cervical (C2 e C3) 
- Nervo Cervical Transverso: vem do plexo e recolhe a 
sensibilidade da região anterior do pescoço 
- Nervos Supraclaviculares: se distribuem para a região 
do tórax e do ombro (C3 e C4)
