O nutricionista coletou dados sem informar aos pacientes que estavam participando de uma pesquisa, não obteve a permissão deles e até mesmo escondeu de sua supervisão que estava conduzindo uma pesquisa com os dados coletados dos prontuários dos pacientes que atendia no hospital. A conduta apropriada seria informar o paciente e suas famílias, bem como a supervisão do hospital, que dados estavam sendo coletados dos pacientes para pesquisa, detalhando cada etapa do processo de forma clara e sucinta. Após obter o consentimento para a coleta dos dados, seria necessário receber uma autorização por escrito para o uso das informações dos pacientes.
