What is the resistance used in the Bad Ragaz Ring Method?
The movement of the body in the water generates a frictional force and turbulence, resulting in resistance to movement. This turbulence is proportional to the speed of movement. Resistance can be increased through the addition of floating rings, increasing ADM, and altering the lever arm. The therapist can provide resistance manually, and part of the resistance is provided by the water.
The resistance used in the Bad Ragaz Ring Method is provided by the water itself. The movement of the body in the water creates frictional force and turbulence, which in turn creates resistance to movement. Additionally, the therapist can also provide manual resistance during the therapy session.
