What is rolling?

1. Rolling consists of modifying the section of a mass of metal by passing it between two cylinders, leaving between them a distance smaller than the initial thickness of the mass.
2. The products are dragged by the cylinder under the effect of friction forces, which originate at the contact surface of the cylinders and the rolled metal.
