What are the steps to install an air conditioning unit?
Check the location where the unit will be installed and ensure there is enough space for proper air circulation and maintenance.
Install the unit on a solid and secure surface, using anti-vibration supports to prevent the transmission of vibrations.
Install the indoor unit inside the room to be air-conditioned, at a height of at least 2.5 meters from the floor.
Install the mounting plate by marking its position on the wall, making sure it is level, drilling holes, inserting plastic plugs, and securing the plate with screws.
Pass the interconnection pipes through the hole in the wall, making sure it slopes towards the exterior to prevent moisture from entering the room.
Make the electrical connections by following the electrical circuit diagram, adjusting the cables to the terminals, and using the appropriate cable section and safety standards.
Extend the drainage hose, making sure it slopes downwards towards the auxiliary drain, and secure the pipes to the back of the unit using a support.
Use only pure copper pipes for the interconnection, and do not remove the end caps until the moment of connection to prevent moisture and dust from entering the pipes.
