What are the steps for installing an air conditioning unit?
Check the electrical voltage and frequency of the power supply.
Choose a location for the unit that is not exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources.
Follow the electrical circuit on the right side of the unit and connect the cables to the terminals, using the appropriate cable section and following local safety standards.
Use an interconnection cable suitable for outdoor use.
Ensure that the connection plug remains accessible after installation, or install a bipolar switch no more than 3 meters from the unit.
Connect the unit to a safe ground.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced only by an authorized technical service.
Use exclusive equipment and tools for R410a to avoid contamination.
Direct the pipes towards the passage in the wall and connect the interconnection cables and the drainage hose.
Insert a flare nut and flare the end of the pipe.
Adjust the connections using two keys, turning in opposite directions.
Ensure that the drainage hose maintains a descending slope towards the auxiliary drainage.
Do not remove the end caps of the pipes until the moment of connection to avoid the entry of moisture and dust.
Wrap the interconnection assembly with vinyl tape and place insulation on the pipe connection, securing it with vinyl tape.
Hang the unit from the top of the mounting plate and tighten and push the bottom of the unit firmly against the mounting plate.
