A condicionamento operante é uma forma de aprendizado na qual um sujeito é mais propenso a repetir comportamentos que levam a consequências positivas e menos propenso a repetir aqueles que levam a consequências negativas. Também é chamado de condicionamento pavloviano, condicionamento respondente, modelo estímulo-resposta ou aprendizado E-R por associações. Foi demonstrado pela primeira vez por Ivan Pavlov.
