A patient complains of precordial pain that started 3 hours ago, radiating to the scapular region and worsening when lying down. On physical examination, regular heart rhythm, 2 normal heart sounds, no murmurs, no abnormalities on lung auscultation, BP = 126x84mmHg, and HR = 84bpm are observed. The patient denies use of medications, recent surgeries or bleeding, and the following tests were performed: coagulogram, renal function, and normal blood count. Conventional troponin I (not ultra-sensitive) was negative when collected 3 hours after the onset of pain, and the following electrocardiogram was performed.
