In relation to the basic rules of the long jump and triple jump events:

No long jump, the takeoff should preferably occur on the takeoff board. If it occurs before, the jumper will be punished.
In the triple jump, if the takeoff occurs next to the takeoff board, either in front of or behind the extension of the takeoff line, or if it touches the ground beyond it, passing it without jumping or in the act of jumping, the jump will be invalidated.
In the triple jump, the board for men is located 13 meters from the sand pit, and the board for women is located 11 meters from the sand pit.
The takeoff line, from which the measurement is made, corresponds to the edge of the board closest to the sand pit. Thus, the measurement of the jump is equivalent to the space between this line and the mark of the closest fall in the sand.
