A organização de tempo é uma das questões mais importantes da organização escolar/
acadêmica, pois interfere e condiciona diretamente o seu modelo didático e o cotidiano de suas
atividades.
O tempo escolar/acadêmico é definido pelo tempo que o aluno passa na instituição, bem como
o tempo de pausas, o tempo de deslocamento e o tempo de organização das turmas. O
planejamento das atividades escolares deve considerar, portanto, muito além das horas de aulas,
visando que todos os tempos relacionados ao aprendizado dos alunos contribuam para a
qualidade do ensino e o melhor desempenho dos alunos.
O quadro de horários traduz a gestão do tempo nas instituições de ensino e é, assim, a principal
ferramenta da gestão escolar para estruturá-la. A montagem da grade horária deve levar em
consideração os diferentes tempos escolares.
A gestão do tempo é fator essencial à motivação dos alunos com relação à aprendizagem, ao
bom andamento das atividades escolares, à organização de seus diferentes intervenientes e,
portanto, à obtenção de bons resultados.
Mais do que apenas dizer que a gestão de tempo é algo importante na vida do estudante, as
instituições deveriam dedicar mais atenção para tornar o tempo que os alunos usam na mesma
mais eficiente e usar um modelo de ensino mais flexível para atender tanto às necessidades dos
alunos, como dos professores e da própria instituição.

The organization of time is one of the most important issues of the school/ academic
organization, as it directly interferes and conditions your didactic model and the daily life of your
activities.
The school/academic time is defined by the time the student spends in the institution, as well as
the time of breaks, the time of travel and the time of organization of the classes. The planning of
school activities should therefore consider far beyond the hours of classes, aiming that all times
related to student learning contribute to the quality of teaching and the best performance of
students.
The timetable translates time management in educational institutions and is thus the main tool
of school management to structure it. The assembly of the schedule should take into account the
different school times.
Time management is an essential factor in students' motivation regarding learning, the good
progress of school activities, the organization of their different stakeholders and, therefore, the
achievement of good results.
More than just saying that time management is something important in student life, institutions
should devote more attention to making the time students use in it more efficient and use a more
flexible teaching model to meet both the needs of students, teachers and the institution itself.
