O verbo auxiliar desse tempo verbal (verbal tense) é “do”, ou “does” quando se usa a terceira pessoal do singular (He/She/It). Outro detalhe é que na forma afirmativa, onde não se usa o verbo auxiliar, os pronomes He/She/It exigem o acréscimo do “s” no fim dos verbos. Simple Present Afirmative He plays Free Fire. She loves cats. They like to watch TV. Interrogative Do you like to watch TV? Does it bite? Negative I do not (don’t) like to watch TV. It does not (doesn’t) bite. Simple Past: é usado para ações que tiveram início no passado e foram concluídas no passado. Na forma Afirmativa os verbos, quando regulares, recebem a terminação “ed” (ver regra na página 15). “Did” é o verbo auxiliar usado para as formas Negativa e Interrogativa.
