Affirmative: sujeito + infinitivo sem “to”. I always wake up early Note: para a 3as pessoas do singular: He, she it acrescentaremos um “s” no verbo. Perceba que a regra para adicionar a terminação da terceira pessoa do singular, corresponde às regras do plural, mas não é plural: e.g.: He-she or it always wakes up early. She always goes home early. Interrogative: verbo auxiliary DO ou DOES + sujeito + verbo na forma base (infinitive sem to) e.g.: Do you wake up early Does he-she-it wake up early Veja alguns exemplos com advérbios. Brazil often wins the world cup. (note: Brazil = it) I always see my girlfriend. The stars always shine in the dark sky. (note: the stars = they) She is always late for school. Veja: e.g.: She is always in a hurry I can never understand what she says. They are never on time. Veja o texto abaixo e observe os verbos grifados. Hi, Martha! My name’s John Smith and I’m American.
