Os pronomes pessoais, que têm a função de sujeito na frase, são:

It (usado como ele ou ela, para objetos e animais)

You (vós, vocês)

 Tome fôlego e vamos em frente!
Vimos muitas histórias e todas elas trouxeram uma novidade, algo para
guardar na memória e usar quando em contato com o inglês.
Nesta aula, a apresentação ficou um pouco diferente. Vamos repassar tudo
o que foi apresentado aqui e fazer exercícios para praticar.
O uso das estruturas aprendidas é muito importante no aprendizado de
línguas. Sempre que tiver oportunidade, pratique!!!

Simple Present
Simple Present é o tempo verbal que equivale ao presente do
indicativo emportuguês.
Na terceira pessoa do singular, acrescenta-se s ao verbo.

The Sunset Confession
It was a quiet evening, and the sun was setting over the lake. Julia and Marcos had been best
friends for years, but that evening felt different. The air was filled with a nervous tension as they sat
on the old dock, watching the sky turn shades of pink and orange.
(A Confissão ao Pôr do Sol)
Era uma tarde tranquila, e o sol estava se pondo sobre o lago. Julia e Marcos eram melhores amigos
há anos, mas aquela noite parecia diferente. O ar estava cheio de uma tensão nervosa enquanto
eles se sentavam no velho cais, observando o céu ficar em tons de rosa e laranja.
Julia: It’s so beautiful, isn’t it?
Marcos: Yeah… but there’s something I need to tell you, Julia. I’ve been trying to find the right
moment.
(Julia: É tão bonito, não é?
Marcos: Sim... mas tem algo que preciso te dizer, Julia. Estou tentando encontrar o momento certo.)
Julia turned to face him, sensing the seriousness in his voice.
Julia: What is it, Marcos? You’re making me nervous.
Marcos: I’ve been keeping this to myself for a long time, and I don’t want to hide it anymore.
(Julia se virou para encará-lo, sentindo a seriedade em sua voz.
Julia: O que foi, Marcos? Você está me deixando nervosa.

He looked down, trying to find the courage. His heart raced, but he knew he had to say it.
Marcos: I… I’m in love with you, Julia. I have been for a while now. I didn’t want to risk our friendship,
but I can’t keep pretending anymore.

Julia stared at him, her heart pounding. She had always cared deeply for Marcos, but hearing those
words out loud felt surreal.
Julia: You… you love me?
Marcos: Yes, Julia. I do. More than anything.
(Julia o encarou, com o coração acelerado. Sempre teve um grande carinho por Marcos, mas ouviraquelas palavras em voz alta parecia surreal.
Julia: Você... você me ama?
Marcos: Sim, Julia. Eu te amo. Mais do que qualquer coisa.)
For a moment, everything was silent except for the gentle sound of the water lapping against the
dock. Then, Julia smiled softly.

Julia: I’ve always had feelings for you too, Marcos. I was just too scared to admit it.
(Por um momento, tudo ficou em silêncio, exceto pelo som suave da água batendo no cais. Então, Julia
sorriu suavemente.
Julia: Eu sempre tive sentimentos por você também, Marcos. Só tinha medo de admitir.)
Marcos couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He reached for her hand, holding it gently.
Marcos: You mean that?
Julia: Yes. I think I’ve always loved you, but I didn’t want to ruin what we had.
(Marcos não podia acreditar no que estava ouvindo. Ele segurou a mão dela gentilmente.
Marcos: Você está falando sério?
Julia: Sim. Acho que sempre te amei, mas não queria arruinar o que tínhamos.)
They both smiled, realizing they had been feeling the same way all along. As the sun dipped below the
horizon, they sat together, their hands entwined, knowing that everything between them had changed—
yet somehow, it felt like it had always been meant to be.
(Ambos sorriram, percebendo que sempre sentiram o mesmo. Enquanto o sol desaparecia no horizonte,
eles se sentaram juntos, de mãos dadas, sabendo que tudo entre eles havia mudado—mas de alguma
forma, parecia que sempre foi para ser assim.)
